Is this just a chore app?

No. It runs Nov 15 to Christmas Eve as one bounded quest with a story, streaks and a finale — then it ends. Kids are helping Santa, not doing chores.

What does it cost?

Your first elf is free, forever. A Season Pass is $14.99 once and unlocks unlimited elves for the season. It does not auto-renew — there is no subscription to cancel.

Do my kids see prices or ads?

Never. Kids see a gift name and a magic price, nothing else — no dollars, no links, no store names, no ads, no chat. Every bit of shopping lives in the parent area.

Who buys the actual gifts?

You do. Kids earn a gift, you approve it, and you buy it in real life. You can also share a wish-list page with grandparents so relatives stop asking what to get.

What if my child stops caring in week two?

That is the usual failure, so the game is built against it: streak bonuses, a story that unlocks weekly, a family Save Christmas goal, and trusted missions that pay instantly so nobody waits on approval.
